Common Misconceptions about Launching Courses and Courses with a Challenge:

  • Having little to no preparation- to have an effective, higher converting challenge, it takes research, planning, and even hiring a team member to help keep down on the overwhelm

  • A webinar or Facebook ads will sell a course or membership- by having a challenge it will keep your clients with you for longer. You have relationship building and can be seen as an expert.

  • Needing to share all of your advice during a challenge- over sharing will leave your audience wondering what is left to buy. Or it may have them feeling overwhelmed. Teach for the quick win.

Tips on How to Run a Successful Challenge Launch:

  • Have 3-5 days of teaching and keeping each course to 15-30 minutes long- to keep hold on everyone’s attention and consider their limited time.

  • 1-2 days of Q and A- students can ask you anything.

  • Get testimonials- Live Testimonials are the best!

  • Free Challenge helps you to build an email list.

  • Paid Challenge is going to be more engaging.

  • VIP Challenge costs a little more, but gives more one on one time with the challenge host or more tips and tricks.

  • Hiring a team member can help with community management each day, keep you on task with the checklist, and help with the background moving pieces.

Actionable Steps on How to Launch a Facebook Challenge:

  • Create your topic- ask yourself what are the top three questions that you’re asked most often? Or you can ask yourself what are the top three objections that you hear most often from your ideal clients?

  • Break your topic down into three lessons.

  • Challenge needs to answer four main questions- Does it solve a problem? Does it give a quick win? Does it give more clarity? Does it help to overcome an objection?

  • Project Management Board- map out each day and what you will teach or the quick win for the day.

  • Promote your challenge through your email list, posting organically, Facebook Ads, Facebook Groups, Clubhouse.

  • In the days following the challenge, focus on onboarding clients

  • Rest!

Final Thoughts from Tammy on How to Run a Challenge for Bigger Launches:

“If you want to have a higher converting launch and grow your business quickly, a challenge launch is definitely the way. But you want to make sure that it's well thought out and effective challenge, so you don't waste your time or your money. And remember that this time will be the first impression that your ideal client may have and you want to invest in your planning and your preparation for your challenge.”
