Common Misconceptions about Web Design:

  • Squarespace and Wix are the only web design websites that make it easy for website builders- there are other design website builders such as WordPress, that is easy to create a website in just a few hours.

  • Need to know how to code when creating a website- you do not need to code when designing a website. Having enriched SEO and being strategic with placement of reviews, testimonials, and call to actions will be impactful.

Tips to Designing a Website That Converts:

  • Imagine the customer journey for when they land on your webpage.

  • Establish the end goal for your customers and how they are going to reach your end goal.

  • Include copy and enriched SEO.

  • Strategically have call to action throughout your website- ideally in the first section where people land on your website.

  • Strategically include reviews and testimonials on your website.

  • Have a fresh set of eyes browse through your website. Ask them if they can identify as soon as they land on your website if your message is clear and consistent.

  • Check the white space of your website- don’t have it too distracting.

Final Thoughts from Rhodaline on How to Design Websites That Convert
